DIVERSITY KEEPS US UNITED
The European Union is a political and economical union composed by twentyseven countries, which unites them and provides facilities and safeness to them all. It also represents a sort of protection considering that it was born in 1957 after WWII with the purpose of avoiding other tragedies, like that one, as it involved many countries, in first place ours. In fact the principal aim that it has is to come together and talk about issues without necessarily being reduced to use violence rather than words.
The authenticity that every single culturally rich state that is part of this gathering has maintained tells us how the EU takes seriously each of it by keeping them unique but at the same time giving the opportunity to be linked by things as the law and the currency, which permit us all to travel and know a lot about each other without any kind of issues. The key is to find the most important topics that law has to regard since nowadays there are many states in which human’s rights aren’t paramount as they should be, the EU is seriously considering them, allowing humanity and equality, since they’re the key to ensure order and security.
On the other hand unifying many states in a single community may cause some divergences or discrepancies on the economical side. Also some people might feel unrepresented by the organs that united decide for an entire population made up by different people who are attached to various beliefs and speak several individual languages.
However I think the disparities, if you could call it that, aren’t something that can’t be solved over time and the cultural differences are what keep us one-of-a-kind, so they shouldn’t be demolished.
From my point of view, the EU is an example of an organized and fundamental union that in any circumstances will support and give help to all countries’ members. Moreover it guarantees peace and cohesion and to me that is paramount to grow into a non-violent society.
