A Safer World!

After the Second World War, the European countries started to collaborate and they created a first form of union. However, this first union was based only on Economy: the members worked together for some years to make the economy works and a balanced economic situation marks the beginning of a peaceful era in all Europe. Therefore we can say that the first November 1993 the European Union was created to prevent wars between the European countries.

Needless to say, the European Union represents a way to live confidently and hopefully looking to the future: peace is built on solid agreements of collaboration and humanity. In fact some countries, like Turkey, don’t respect these agreements and therefore they can’t be part of the EU.

On one hand, nobody can disagree that inside the European Union wars have completely disappeared.

On the other hand, unfortunately close to Europe some conflicts are still present: all around the world, a lot of innocent people die every day because of dictatorial governments where unsustainable economic situations are based on exploitation of poor working classes, children and resources.

In conclusion, my opinion is that the European Union is absolutely necessary to guarantee Peace and our Future: thanks to stability and fair situation, I feel really safe to be part of it: especially in this period of pandemic crisis, I am sure that all the members of the EU can help each other to find the best solution.
