What's New in the Inclusion Team?
We have new members of staff that have joined our Inclusion team. Mrs Catlow is our new SENco and Mrs Moore is now the specialist teacher for Speech and language provision for the Specialist Resource Provision.
Mr Murray, Miss Rahman and Miss Hoyle have also joined our Learning Support Assistant team.
SEN Coffee Mornings 2022
In Module 1 we organised SEND college coffee mornings. These mornings provided an opportunity for parents to meet with the Inclusion team and for greater understanding of our students individual learning needs. These were a great success and we are looking to host more SEND coffee mornings throughout the year.
HI SRP
The Hearing Impaired students have been supporting our school community in learning British Sign Language., alongside our Teacher of the Deaf, Ms Matthews. The students thoroughly enjoyed learning a new way of communicating.

SCLN
The students have been working hard in the Speech and Language Communication SRP. They have been learning disciplinary vocabulary to support their attainment in lessons. Students also have been developing knowledge of strategies of how to regulate emotions and have been modelling these in the our community.
