Marching Band Members and Parents,
One of the toughest weeks of the season is officially behind us and the 2024 edition of the Marching Band is already beginning to take form. I'm so proud of all of the hard work that's gone in so far, and am thrilled with how everyone represented at the Wawa opening! There is still so much to accomplish this week, which concludes with our first football game of the season.

This Week's Schedule
Mon-Wednesday: Rehearsal 8 AM-5 PM, pickup 5:15 PM
Weds: Pre-Game Rehearsal with Dance/Cheer at 4 PM. HS Open House begins at 6:30, please plan accordingly!
Thursday, 1 PM-9:15PM - Band BBQ/Football Home Opener vs Eastern
DRESS: UNIFORMS. BLACK SHIRT/BLACK SHORTS/TALL BLACK SOCKS UNDERNEATH
*stop at school first and bring any necessary equipment for the pregame show rehearsal to the BBQ
(this includes stand racks)
1:00 PM - Band BBQ at PRACTICE FIELD - burgers, hot dogs, MR. SOFTEE, plant based burgers, snacks, etc.

3:00 PM - Combined Pre-Game rehearsal with Dance/Cheer (stadium)
review Varsity/Star Spangled Banner after
3:45 PM (or earlier) - return to school/DRESS IN UNIFORM
4:50 PM - move to stadium
5:15 PM - lined up for Fall Sports Recognition in concession stand end zone - we are second
5:45 PM - PRE-GAME SHOW/Tunnel/National Anthem
6:00 PM - Kickoff!
*no halftime performance this week - BBQ LEFTOVERS/bring cash for concessions
8:45 PM~ - game ends, return to band room
9:15 PM~ - Dismissal
Pit Crew Training: Saturday 9/7, 1 PM
For anyone who plans to assist with the Pit Crew this season, we will have a training session on the date listed above. We anticipate first load/unload should take approximately an hour and a half-2 hours. Please keep an eye out in the Booster email update for more info. We appreciate your time and any help you are able to provide.
Football Schedule Updates
We will no longer be attending the Away Game at Camden Eastside originally scheduled for Friday 9/27 - this game has been rescheduled to the afternoon of 9/28 and conflicts with our performances at the Dragon Run/Swedesboro Day and the Williamstown competition. On Friday 9/27 we will rehearse after school until 6 (enjoy the only Friday night off of the Fall, but don't plan to stay out too late, we will have an early call time and long day the next day!)
All games begin at 6 PM, except for the following away games which will begin at 7 PM:
9/20 at Delsea
10/4 at Hammonton
10/25 at Williamstown

Penny Wars
The first ever KRMB Penny War is heated! The Drumline currently has the lead and the staff has a negative score... who will come out on top?!Â
Clothing Drive
We are accepting donations until 9/14 - clean out those closets before school starts! Drop offs are in the music library in the band room, located right next to the usual drop off door.

Thurs 9/5: First day of school/first after school rehearsal 3-6
Fri 9/6: Home Football vs Camden... (show debut?!)
Sat 9/7: Rehearsal 9-4:30 (Pit Crew training at 1)
