Band Camp Week 1

It's already that time of the year! Welcome to Band Camp Week 1. Please make sure to review the Band Camp Checklist one final time before tomorrow. Continue hydrating and eating nutritious foods, and make sure to get plenty of sleep each night. Additionally, here are some reminders as discussed at our band meeting last week.

• Week 1: rehearsal Monday-Friday, 8-5 each day. Band Room open at 7:15 for early arrivals.

• Wawa Opening Ceremony Thursday morning - drop off at new Wawa (full schedule and address below)

• SPIRIT CALENDAR and DETAILS ON POOL PARTY FRIDAY NIGHT

• Lunch will be from 12-1 each day.

  • Food can be dropped off by a parent if needed

  • NO LEAVING CAMPUS FOR FOOD OR WAWA RUNS.

  • NO DOORDASHING/UBER EATS/GRUB HUB ETC.

8/22 - Wawa Grand Opening Ceremony

We have been invited to perform at the grand opening ceremony of the new Wawa opening up on 322!!! This will be during the Thursday morning of Band Camp. We will perform the national anthem, stand tunes, and possibly more... stay tuned. Wawa will graciously be making a donation to the Band Boosters in return for our performance!

PARENTS: FREE COFFEE ALL DAY, STOP IN! Store officially opens at 8 and the first 100 customers get a grand opening t-shirt!

Schedule for Morning of 8/22

7:15-45 AM - DROP OFF AT NEW WAWA (NOT SCHOOL): 2971 Route 322, Logan Township, NJ 08085

• The band room will be open if you need to stop in to grab your instrument.

8:00 AM - Stand tunes

8:30 AM - Opening ceremony begins

8:55~ AM - Ribbon cutting, photos, more stand tunes

9:30 AM - load buses and head back to school for remainder of camp day

5:15 PM - standard camp pickup time
