September Week 2 - Absegami Competition

What an incredible turnout we had at our preview show this past weekend! Thank you to everyone for your undying support of our program - it truly does mean more than you could ever know. We have something very special here at Kingsway that not a lot of programs around the area can experience in the way we do. Our fans are some of the most dedicated people we could ever imagine, and so many people came from near and far just to see us kick off our season. This is yet another incredibly special group of members who are learning to overcome adversity and obstacles and still come out on top. We are looking forward to paying it forward this year and continuing to deliver moving, passionate and inspiring performances. Here are some videos from the evening!

Thursday Night - Eagles Home Opener vs Vikings!!

Friday - Home Football vs Vineland

(edited) After school - DRESS IN UNIFORM FOR YEARBOOK PICTURES - relax/change once done

(edited) 4:25 PM - dress (again)

5:10 PM - lined up/march to stadium

5:45 PM - Pregame Show/tunnel

6:00 PM - Kickoff!

6:45 PM (est.) - HALFTIME PERFORMANCE!

8:45 PM (est.) - Game ends/return to band room

9:15 PM (est.) - Dismissal after uniforms inspected

Saturday - Absegami Competition

9:00 AM - Rehearsal

12:30 PM - EPL (eat/pack/load truck) - lunch provided!

2:30 PM - busses arrive/load

2:45 PM - in seats

3:00 PM - Depart Kingsway

4:15 PM~ - Arrive at Absegami HS (bathrooms/dress/unload/move)

5:00 PM - sectional warmups

6:30 PM - move to gate

6:45 PM - Gate

7:00 PM - Deviation of Time!

7:30 PM - return to buses/concessions/watch other bands

9:00 PM - Awards (band meeting following)

9:45 PM~ - Depart Absegami

10:50 PM~ - arrive at Kingsway

11:15 PM~ - Dismissal after unloaded/uniforms inspected

Pit Crew Saturday Schedule

12:20 PM - Pit Crew report to practice field/load truck after run through

4:15 PM - unload truck at Absegami HS

7:15 PM - load truck following performance

10:50 PM - unload truck at Kingsway

Thanksgiving Payments Due This Tuesday - $85 payments for the Thanksgiving trip are due! Payment can be made through Venmo to @KingswayBandBoosters or a check made to Kingsway Band Boosters can be left in the black KRBB mailbox in the band room.

Donation Drive Wrapping Up - tell your people, this Tuesday is the last day to drop off donations to the band room! The music library is getting pretty full!
