This year's show is inspired by the drive and determination set into motion 50 years ago as the United States set out to win the race to the moon for dominance in the global space race. Forward Progress is a story of the tireless work to achieve a goal set behind the United State's dream to put a man on the moon. The determination to set forth and reach this goal changed the history of the world forever.
Introduction:
Dreaming of Space, trying to get to space, what’s there?
“We do these things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard”
First movement:
Construction, researching, building - making the rocket ship
Ballad:
Reflection - the last night they stand on the earth - from that point forward, they’ve changed history forever…
Closer:
• Launching to space, traveling through space
Finale:
• Landing on the moon- fanfare & celebration
