October Week 3 - HOME SHOW!
I hope everyone had a great homecoming weekend! We had some excellent performances on Friday between the pep rally and football game, but most importantly, left a HUGE impact on our visiting 7th and 8th graders from middle school band night! I'm happy to report that we had a total of 48 students in attendance (record attendance level) and I'm excited to watch the future unfold for these students thanks to the impact you were all able to make.
We've arrived at the final stretch of the competitive season - it's HOME SHOW WEEK! Strap in your seatbelts for an awesome ride. Parents, an email was sent out from the boosters regarding volunteer sign ups for Saturday - your involvement makes a difference, no matter how big or small the job may be! We appreciate all of the help and support you provide!
After this, only state and national championships remain before we go into parade mode... MAXIMIZE EVERY MOMENT!

Tuesday - after school rehearsal, pickup 6:15 PM
Thursday - after school rehearsal, pickup 6:15 PM
Friday - Away Game at Holy Spirit (Absecon)/Sectional Rehearsals
GUARD and FRONT ENSEMBLE - rehearsing 3:15-6
Hornline/Battery
After school - eat/break
3:15 PM - load buses
3:45 PM - depart Kingsway
5:00 PM~ - arrive at Holy Spirit/dress/unload/take seats
6:00 PM - Game Begins
8:45 PM~ - game ends/load buses/depart
10:00 PM~ - arrive at Kingsway/unload/dismissal/IMMEDIATE SLEEP
Saturday - HOME SHOW!!!
Full Show Schedule - 201 Kings Highway, Woolwich Township, NJ 08085
8:00 AM - rehearsal begins (lunch 12-1, bring own)
4:30 PM - rehearsal ends, dress, eat (provided)
5:00 PM - gates open for spectators, grab a good seat and support all bands!
5:30 PM (latest) - back in band room to dress
6:00 PM - national anthem, then first band at 6:15
6:30 PM - abbreviated warmup
7:15 PM - move
7:30 PM - gate
7:45 PM - DEVIATION OF TIME (exhibition)
8:00 PM - watch Rowan University Marching Band!
8:30 PM - awards
8:45 PM - show done: help with cleanup, change out of uniform
9:30 PM - approximate dismissal

Looking Ahead to State Championships at The College of New Jersey!
Ticket Sales - states tickets are now available for purchase HERE! PLEASE NOTE: there will be no ticket sales at the gate (cash handling/kiosks). Audience members will however be able to use their phones to purchase at the gate through the above link.
Time Frame An update was released from NJMBDA that the time frame for group AAAA at state championships will be between 6:55-8:10 PM. Performance order is random draw. Awards will likely be at 8:45. It will be a late Sunday night - please plan accordingly for this as we will likely not return to the school/dismiss until 10:30-11 PM!
