October Week 2 - Homecoming/MS Band Night

The double header was a huge success! In the span of 9:30 AM-9:30 PM, the band was able to depart and return to Kingsway with two performances under our belts. It was a rollercoaster of a day, but I'm happy to say that through it all, we were able to see what true progress looked like. From the game Friday night to each of the two shows on Saturday, everyone made so much progress and Deviation of Time took some major steps forward. If we could make that much progress in just 24 hours, imagine what we could do with TWO WEEKS before we debut the full show at HOME SHOW! Let's keep using the momentum we gained and KEEP MOVING FORWARD!

Here is a video of our performance from Marple Newtown!

This week is relatively simple with two after school rehearsals, HUGE football game Friday night, and our final Saturday off until after nationals for Homecoming. This Friday's game is not only just our homecoming game, but MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND NIGHT. Anyone who attended this as a student remembers what it was like to experience the band for the first time. It's time to pay it forward - there will be plenty of middle schoolers in attendance who would are very much looking forward to playing with the marching band. Let's make it a night to remember for them!
