Marching Band Members and Parents,
Just like the real Dreadnoughtus, our 2024 production is now a memory of the past and a piece of Kingsway history. Through months of creating, learning, and mastering this show, we learned the values of teamwork, the reward of perseverance, and that every band is a miracle of its own. I will always remember this year's band for setting a new standard of excellence in the KRMB - take what you learned from the past 6 months and use it every day. As Dr. Ken said, you can create the past that your future self would want to remember... that choice is yours.
The growth in the band from week to week and last year to now is evident in the performance and scores. Our previous USBands performance at MetLife on 10/12 received a score of 79.00. At National Championships, we were ranked 6th in our division and received a score of 88.4 - over a 9 point jump in 3 weeks! Comparing that against last year's Nationals placement/score of 7th with an 85.5, it is clear that our growth is recognized. Numbers aside, over the last three weeks, every performer maximized their ability to perform this show and gave it all their true 100%.

2:45 PM - report time
3:00 PM - load buses (3)
3:30 PM - depart Kingsway
5:15~ PM - arrive at Toms River/dress/unload/take seats
6:00 PM - game begins
9:00 PM~ - game ends/load buses/depart
10:45 PM - arrive/unload/dismissal

Parade Music
We have two new tunes for the parades this year! Christmas Medley will be what we perform on TV for Thanksgiving and Jingle Bell Jam will be a street tune.

Indoor Percussion and Color Guard are extensions of the Marching Band program through the winter months that allow students to continue to perform in shows uniquely designed exclusively for Percussion and Color Guard!
Monday, 11/11, 6 PM: Info Meeting/Show Reveal for Students and Parents
Saturday, 11/16: Auditions begin. ALL STUDENTS MUST BE CLEARED FOR WINTER SPORTS (GENESIS, PHYSICAL/HHU, ACTIVITY FEE) BY THEIR AUDITION. Sign up instructions are in the interest forms.Â
