DREADNOUGHTUS

Was a giant sauropod, a member of the group of dinosaurs called titanosaurs. Weighing in at 65-tons, this creature had nothing to fear. Following the mass extinction at the end of the Cretaceous Period 66 million years ago, Dreadnoughtus' skeleton laid dormant in southern Patagonia in Argentina until it was discovered in 2005 by paleontologist Dr. Kenneth Lacovara.
