Governing Board Meeting Notice

Notice is hereby given that the King-Chavez Academy of Excellence, Inc. (“King-Chavez Neighborhood of Schools”) will hold a regular meeting as listed below.

Date: September 18, 2013

Time: 4:30 p.m.

Location: King-Chavez Primary, Arts and Athletics Academies Library, 415 31st Street, San Diego CA 92102

Public input on specific agenda items and those items not on the agenda – Any person of the public desiring to speak shall be allowed to speak during public comment time and has the option of speaking once on any agenda item when it is being discussed. Speaking time shall generally be limited to three minutes, unless a longer period is permitted by the Board President. Agenda speakers will be limited five minutes.

9. a Action - Ratify sub-lease agreement between King-Chavez Academy of

Excellence, Inc and Sherman Community Center for the Sherman Founders

House for use as King-Chavez CNO offices.

9.b Action – Ratify sub-lease agreement between King-Chavez Academy of Excellence, Inc and Child Development Associates (CDA) for a portion of the space at the Sherman preschool for CDA to operate a preschool.

9.c Action – Resolution to Change of Signers for Bank Accounts for the KingChavez Academy of Excellence removing Adriana Diaz and adding Armando Ayala.

9.d Action – Resolution Change of Signers for Bank Accounts for the KingChavez Community High School removing Jeb Hubbs and adding Consuelo Manriquez
