2. Approval of Minutes from January 17, 2024

Melanie Molyneaux read the minutes from the meeting on January 17th

Rachel Nielsen made a motion to approve and Whitney Blackett seconded the motion.

Everyone was in favor.

Discussion Items:

3. MOY Acadience Reading Report by Mrs. Blackham

Kindergarten - MOY reports showed 53% proficiency / BOY was 68%

1st grade MOY reports showed 61% proficiency / BOY was 56%

2nd grade MOY reports showed 60% proficiency / BOY was 50%

3rd grade MOY reports showed 61% proficiency / BOY was 59%

4th grade MOY reports showed 74% proficiency / BOY was 71%

5th grade MOY reports showed 51% proficiency / BOY was 61%

We are at a 67% average. Our goal is to be at 75%

We are adding tools to help with the drop in percentages from the beginning of the year.


4. MOY Acadience Math Report by Mrs. Jones

Kindergarten - MOY reports show 43% proficiency / BOY was 47%

1st grade - MOY reports show 48% / BOY was 59%

2nd grade- MOY reports show 40% / BOY was 55%

3rd grade - MOY reports show 64% / BOY was 72%


K-3 MOY average is at 56%


5. Create first draft of 2024-2025 Trustlands Plan

Proposed Trustland Expenditures for 2024-2025

Total Distribution: $125,563.30 Estimated Carryover: $15,000


1. 5th Grade Battle of the Books

2. Teacher Non-Contract Time ($35/hr. for approx. 25 hours)

3. Instructional Support

(Instructional Assistants, Curriculum, etc.)

4. Music Teacher

5. Teacher Professional Development.

6. Grade Level Science Supplies ($500 / Grade Level)

7. Technology

8. Software Licenses

(Typing Club, Read Naturally, Mystery Science Generation Genius, & Infini D Lab)

9. Art Supplies

10. STEAM Supplies

11. New Books for the Leveled Library

Joelle Worwood motioned to approve the 1st draft, Rachel Nielsen seconded the motion.

Next meeting will be held on March 20th.

Motion to adjourn the meeting by Andrea Echols, Tarah Taylor seconded the motion.
