Agenda:

1. Autumn Jackson welcomed everyone in attendance.

Members Present: Autumn Jackson, Tammy Shepherd, Harmony Langford,

Diane Blackham, Stacey Mcpherson.

Approval of Minutes - September 22, 2020

Previous months' minutes were read aloud

Harmony Langford motioned to approve minutes, seconded by Autumn Jackson, everyone approved.

Discussion Items:

2. Beginning of Year Dibels Information (Mrs. Blackham)

Mrs. Blackham showed the breakdown of BOY data for grades K-5 that was gathered in September. Ending the school year early is showing from the data.

Teachers are using some tools to address the gap because of school closure. Reading Horizons is one of those tools being implemented. They are seeing some growth since dibels were assessed in September. They will reassess data in January when they do MOY dibels.

3. Trustlands Progress

Idea of what we have spent so far.

Goal #1 - $7,996.72

Goal #2 - $0.00

Goal #3 -$212.18

Amendment was approved to give Instructional Coach salary back to trustlands.

$12,000 into Technology / Goal #1

$5,000 into Personal Development / Goal #2

$3,000 into STEAM / Goal #3

4. TSSA Report

TSSA report was discussed. Report is on school website.

Action Items:

5. Digital Safety Assembly

Mr. Mecham - “Part of community council is to see how we are going to teach kids digital safety.

Brandon Harris from CUES has reached out & said he would be willing to come down to each individual classroom and present a digital safety presentation.” “ There will be no charge for his services.”

Tammy Shepherd motioned to approve this action, seconded by Autumn Jackson, motion passed by all.

Next meeting will be on November 17th at 3:15.
