Linda Hanks: Shared message from Superintendent

· Thanked them for serving on the SCC and appreciates your efforts and time.

· Discussed Trustland Funds and how they are being spent.

· What Counts Night is coming up on February 12th. Need to RSVP as soon as possible. Board is redoing their Strategic Action Plan and would like everyone in attendance to share their ideas. Focus is on a profile of a graduate; a survey has been sent out to community members and data will be collected to share.

· SCC has been invited to help with the screening of the new principal at Red Cliffs. February 25th-26th are the dates that the applications will be screened.

· School Fees: Elementary will not be affected by this because we do not have any school fees.

Mr. Pay: Report on this Years Spending and other information

· Red Cliffs has been awarded a Grant from Utah State and the 4-H program for an after-school program. This will involve tutoring, interventions, robotics, art, etc. We are super excited for this new program coming.

· Went over Goal One and what still needs to be done to meet that goal. Teachers have 30 hours for extra time that they spend.

· Bought all our i-Pads for our new students that came in.

· Teachers are going to professional development. John Hatti is speaking at Rural Schools this summer.

DIBELS report Mrs. Webster

Discussed our growth and proficiency in each grade level.

Idea of what we can spend next year All

· Professional Development

· Money for classrooms (500.00)

· Things we want to for sure keep: Music Teacher and supplies

· 30 hours for teachers

· IA’s (Kindergarten IA, intervention block IA’s) Mr. Pay and Mrs. Webster will put a sample intervention schedule together for next meeting.

· Technology??? Do we want to spend any money on technology this year? Get a count on i-Pads to help determine what we need.

· Battle of the Books for 5th grade. (Mrs. Hanson is going to check into how much this would cost.)
