Welcome by Council Chair Rachel Nielson

Members present : Whitney Blackett, Tarah Taylor, Crissa Peterson, Lisa Heap

Agenda:

1. Welcome:

Approval of Minutes from February 7, 2022

Motion to approve minutes, Whitney Blackett, Lisa Heap seconded the motion.

Discussion Items:

A suggestion was made that they would like more adaptive playground equipment for the handicap. Can you use Trustland funding for this? Social & Emotional Learning? Students at RCE could have social and emotional learning from adaptive play with SPED students.

Mr. Mecham was going to look into that.

Can they get Subs for specials? Maybe next year?

Do we have any resources for reading tutoring? What do we have available? Mr. Mecham said we will have resources this summer. Covid funding will pay for that.

2. 2022-2023 First Draft of Trustland Expenditures

Looked at 1st draft of Trustland Expenditures.

• Would like to Increase Non-Contract Time ($25/hr. For 25 hours)

• InfiniD Lab had some glitches this year but they would like to try it for at least another year. Crissa Peterson said that her students loved it. Just need to work out the kinks.

• Asked if they could get Ozobot for Steam? Purchase at leasts 2?

Action Items:

Next meeting will be on April 11th. Go over trustland expenditures for next year one more time and then get final draft ready to send to the school board.
