Approval of Minutes- November 8, 2021

Motion to approve minutes by Tarah Taylor and Whitney Blackett seconded it.

Discussion Items:

2. “Messaging in Motion” Digital Marquee Sign presentation by Corbin White

We are looking to purchase a digital marquee sign. We can use it for parent communication, student successes & engagements of all kind. Corbin White with LED SIGNS has given us a bid for a 40x60 inch marquee. It would be around $9,000 and an additional $1,000 for the mount.

We would use trustland funding to purchase the sign.

Darren stated that we will need to get 3 more bids from other companies & then go from there.

Question was asked about how the marquee sign withstands weather elements. Corbin stated that they are completely weather proof.

3. Acadience Reading Mid-Year Report- Mrs. Blackham

Darren made a motion to do mid-year report for next SCC meeting. Needed the time for

Corbin Whites presentation.

4. Digital Safety Update:

Brandon Harrison has come & met with half of the school in December. He will be back Jan the 12th to do the rest of the school.

Rachel makes the motion to adjourn and Tarah seconded the motion.
