Brandon Harris did come as discussed. He is coming back next Tuesday and Wednesday for a completely different presentation. Portable planetarium. Teaming with 4-H.

2. iReady Diagnostic Schoolwide results:

  • K-5 Math (3 tiers of at risk)

The diagnostic is not anywhere near where it should be. (Harmony Langford) Mr. Mecham says this assessment is a small representation of where the students are. Diane went over all the data. The data is not perfect but it shows that the student is moving in the right direction. We will never wait until they are 2 grade levels behind to help them. (Mr. Mecham)

  • 4-5 Reading Diane Blackham went over the data in this area. She said that we are seeing good progress here.


3. School Land Trust Implementation Mid-Year Progress Report

Goal #1 - Teachers paid $25.00/hr for non-contract time, hire Instructional Assistants, Battle of the Books, Technology

Budget $81,748

Expenditures:

-Essential Elements Subscription

-Disposable Headphones

-Brain Pop Subscription for K-3

-Boom Learning App for Grades K-2

-Apple Pencils and Crayons

-Notability App for Teachers

-100 Ipad Keyboards for the 4th grade

-Typing Club Licenses

-5th Grade Battle of the Books

-Non-contract time for Teachers

-We have hired one instructional assistant

Remaining Budget- $33,858.33

Upcoming Expenditures - Ipads, Sound Systems, other technology needs as they arise.

Goal #2 - Teacher Professional Development

Budget: $13,000

Expenditures: Math Workshops, Reading Horizons Teacher PD, The Teaching Channel Subscription for new teachers.

Remaining Budget: $11, 271. 04

Upcoming Expenditures: Summer PD, School Visits, PLC Conference

Goal #3- Provide a Music Teacher and STEAM Supplies

Budget: $28,129

Expenditures: Music Teacher, Steam Supplies

Remaining Budget: $7,679.10

Upcoming Expenditures: STEAM Supplies aligned with our EL Curriculum for Grades K-3,

STEAM Supplies aligned with the Science Standards for Grades 4-5.

Budget for 2021-2022: $103,979.




4. Begin drafting 2021-2022 School Land Trust Plan

General Idea where we want to spend $.

Mr. Mecham will check with the grade levels and ask them what they need. He will bring that to this counsel and we will decide where it is spent.
