2. Dibels Report:
Dibels calculations from BOY until now.
BOY was 46.5 % proficiency. There was a decline at the beginning of the year and we can attribute that to school closures. MOY data is showing 51.7% proficiency. This is for K-3. grades. We show 63.25 % as typical or more growth . We attribute this to great teachers and products that we are using. The State looks at what percentage of kids are at level but also growth. Council liked the letters that were sent out to parents showing where their students were at and that there are still goals that they can reach. Some kids will never get in the green or blues but need to celebrate growth in their level. It’s all about student success.
3. InfiniD Lab:
InfiniD Lab has requested that we take another look at their product.
They took our feedback from last year and have adjusted things. This year they have changed it so that now the kids have to answer so many questions in each mission before they can go on to the next mission. They want kids to have feedback immediately. He said they will know if they get it wrong or right with the scores. Also, teachers can do it in their classrooms in a portable cart.
If we have four schools in the district commit, a site license for K-3 would be about $5,000 for our school.
Includes equipment and training for teachers..
