Watched Doug Wright’s video.

Kami - Is there data on why teachers leave within the first 5 years? Mrs. Hanks said that salary, age, class size all play into this.

SAGE Data (Richard) Proficiency is up 3rd-6th. We are ranked 16th in the state. Measurable Growth Percentage is 61! That is fantastic! All students are growing. We are ranked 5 in ELA. We are ranked lower in math. :(

Science New core this year so it is hard to determine the growth. 54.4% proficient is pretty good though. We will break down the data for next meeting.

DIBELS Data (Brandi) How are students improving in the upper grades?

Kami The more you hear something the better you understand it. Are you using this? No, it is totally random.

We saw better growth on Sage than on Dibels.

How do we compare with last year? About the same. Brandi will bring a graph with more comparison charts on groups of students.

Pin pointing where students are struggling. Mrs. WIng is figuring out where students are struggling and helping better this year.

17-18 Plan (Richard) How much of the plan was implemented from this?

Kami Crump

The overage on the old plan was put onto the plan for this year. How is the extra teacher working in 5th grade? Holly Hall. The District actually paid for that and the money that we put in for an aid was put in lower grades to read with students before school the aid is paid for with Trustlands money.

Put plans on the website.

Technology: iPads were purchased. 40 out of Trustlands and then more out of the school budget. We would still like more iPads.

How many are we short? Kami Crump. 2 or 3 Mr. Pay.
