From Jeffco Information Technology

Please be aware that beginning at 4:00 PM today, Jeffco Schools will be performing important security and software updates to all Jeffco online systems. The update is expected to be completed by Monday morning, November 6th. In order to properly complete this work, student access to all online Jeffco systems will be suspended.  We recognize that this shutdown will have an impact on students' abilities to complete schoolwork over the weekend.  Our teachers understand this impact and will be flexible with students around timelines for completing work that was expected to be worked on over the weekend.  During classes on Monday, teachers will communicate their expectations around completing and submitting outstanding schoolwork.  Please refer to any communication that comes out from the Jeffco School District over the weekend for additional information.

Our school has been selected to participate in the Healthy Kids Colorado Survey (HKCS) on November 14th.  HKCS is Colorado’s widely-administered survey on the health and well-being of young people and school health policies and practices that support youth health. Families can opt-out of the survey using THIS FORM. (You must complete the Opt-Out form by November 13th.  Participation is voluntary and students can decline to participate or answer questions in the survey. Explore Survey FAQs here

Mental, social and emotional wellness of students is a priority that we share with our community and one that we are addressing with layers of support including school counselors, social emotional learning specialists, school psychologists, social workers along with partnerships with outside agencies like Hazel Health.

This year, we continue our partnership with Hazel Health’s Telehealth services to provide a free telehealth extension of mental and physical health support for Jeffco students enrolled at district-managed schools accessed at home with a parent/guardian.

Parents/guardians may access these services on behalf of your student by visiting this webpage and following the instructions for – Steps to Access Care

"The Curious Savage"

“The Curious Savage” is the comedic and touching  story of an elderly widow named Mrs. Savage, whose husband has left her 10 million dollars. She intends to give the entire fortune away to people who wish to pursue their “foolish dreams,” but her stepchildren strongly object.

To prevent her from doing away with their family’s wealth and ruining their legacy, they have her committed to a sanatorium called The Cloisters, and it is among the gentle residents there that she finds her true family

“The Curious Savage” is a warm comedy that compares the kindness and loyalty of psychiatric patients with the greed and hostility of so-called “normal people.”

Dates are November 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the RVHS Auditorium or streamed online.  Click HERE for ticket information.
