This session shares practical strategies to support students in articulating their conceptual understanding through guided inquiry. 

Through real classroom experiences, we will unpack three practical strategies: 

• Crafting guiding questions that lift students’ thinking from the factual to the conceptual level.

• Selecting case studies that prompt pattern finding and connection making.

• Scaffolding students to articulate their own understandings.

Session Outcomes: 

• A practical framework for planning purposeful inquiry that leads students to clear conceptual understandings.

• A ready to use planning template and strategies for concept-based, inductive inquiry.
