LIZ GIBBS
Mathematics Parachute Games and Activities
National and International Maths Consultant
Participation in the activities is required!
When you think about using a parachute in education, you may be thinking about using it in PE lessons.
Join Liz and her well-travelled parachute at this workshop to learn some new engaging maths activities.
This workshop seeks to show you how the humble parachute can be used for mathematics, especially in the Early Years.
Most activities will be number based and will use resources you may already have in school.
Session Outcomes:
Give yourself a reason to dust off the parachute at school and use it in a maths lesson.
All the ideas and activities can be taken away and used back at school the next day.
