Workshop Information:

This session will explore how Dubai College uses philanthropy as a powerful tool to engage students with real-world issues of privilege, social responsibility, and global citizenship - ultimately empowering them to become active change-makers. 

Since 2019, the school has supported the construction of four primary schools in remote regions of Nepal, embedding philanthropy into the heart of the student experience. 

Through whole-school fundraising, student and parent trips, and even a community medical camp in Nepal, Dubai College fosters a culture where students don’t just give - they lead, reflect and grow through meaningful global action.

This session explores how Dubai College has harnessed the power of philanthropy to empower students, build global awareness and create life-changing educational opportunities for underserved communities. 

By aligning purposeful giving with real-world learning, the school has cultivated a culture of compassion, leadership and action.

A look at how students have been part of the journey to build four schools in Jaisithok, Bandipur, Talung, and Kalika - bringing education to hundreds of children while gaining a deeper understanding of their own power to enact change. Understanding how students learn about the UN SDG goals of Education, Zero Hunger and Poverty through RPEP (Rolling Positive Education Programme).
