After, the stellar soloists, Connor Hindle, Evan O’Neil, Klaas Dam, Mo Ba, Lila Harrinanan, and Patrick Muhlesien impressed the crowd with their powerful sound.

In the small pockets of time between performances, audience members were provided food catered by Monastery Bakery and served by various parent volunteers. A silent auction was held filled with a variety of amazing donated items ranging from concert tickets to beautiful paintings that audience members could win.
Afterwards, Emma Ries and Evelyn Novog sang a dazzling duet of Rainbow Connection from The Muppets, followed by Junior Rock band rocking out to Where’s My Mind by Pixies and On Mercury by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
“It was so spectacular to see all the hard-working TAB musicians. I really didn’t know what to expect as it was my first time attending this type of event so it really ‘nubbed’ me in the right way! Congrats to all musicians who performed,” exclaimed Bohdan Nitz, a Grade 11 audience member.

Then, the Symphonic Wind Concert Band presented Crazy for Cartoons by Robert Sheldon, in addition to The Graduates Rock Band bringing three tunes to the crowd: Feeling Good by Michael Bublé, Layla by Derek and the Dominos, and the Scooby-Doo Theme.
Finally, the terrific Wind Ensemble Concert Band performed the Simpsons Theme and Danzón No. 2 by Arturo Marquez, which additionally scored them a Silver Plus award at the Golden Horseshoe Music Festival.
“Music Night In this year was one of the highlights of my year. I loved seeing all the ensembles perform cartoon-themed pieces and eating food with performers. The auction was also a huge success, with so much variety in the items one could buy. All in all, Music Night In was a huge success and I highly recommend all students check it out next year!” expressed Grace Tan.
