Here we are at the end of March. I don't know about you, but I feel like yesterday was Fall Break! Time truly is flying!!! 🪁 It goes without saying, but every day DOES matter and every minute DOES count! Thank you for pressing onward each and every day.
When we return from Spring Break, we will have approximately 5 1/2 weeks left with students. These weeks are important, and they mean more than you know. These will be the weeks that we finish what we've started. I encourage you to keep your eye on each student's EOY goal and help them to meet it. I am happy to assist in any way!
We will be scheduling EOY conferences for when we return. The schedule is linked HERE. Look over it and let Beth and me know ASAP if there is a conflict with your scheduled time.
Hey team! We are just a few days away from Spring Break, a much-needed break for all of us. Please see the list below and ensure all items are completed by the listed due dates.
Please make sure the rosters are finished completely before you leave on Friday. The numbers at the bottom should be completed for all of next year's list, AND please make sure the colors you use to highlight students match their category at the bottom; it makes it difficult to identify students if the colors are not the same.
Reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Alli and I are always happy to assist you in any way we can!

What does the science of reading support about TEACHING high frequency words? This short article gives LOTS of info and steps to teaching them.
This transition list is from the Writing Revolution 2.0 book. I would love to see a common transition list next year in 3rd-5th. White County uses this list. Let me know your thoughts!
🍨Ice Cream MAP Incentive Spring 25-26 🍨 -- We will set up in the lunchroom and students will come through AFTER their lunch time. Each student will still need a ticket saying whether they get just ice cream or ice cream AND toppings. Complete the spreadsheet below.
Milestones Positive Affirmation Cards
Staff, please sign up to write a positive affirmation card for a 3rd-5th grade student! This is always such a sweet treat for all 3rd-5th graders to have a note from a staff member who loves them to open on the morning of the test. Please do not sign up for a child in your homeroom class. All students will get one so do not worry :)
They are due Monday, April 27th so we have enough time to sort and deliver them.
You can sign up HERE. They are organized by grade level and by teacher.

THANK YOU! Career Week is DONE and it was so much fun. Thank you for your flexibility, giving up your time, and your grace with me as we got 31 (!!!) different careers to come and speak to our PK-5th graders!
Career development is near and dear to my heart and I truly believe that it can help with motivation in all aspects. If kids believe they can achieve their dreams, and know that we believe in them too, they're more likely to work toward their goals.
