Character Motivation - Part 1 (Levels 3-6)

Read through the colourful script below, 'Dialogue-No Context'.

There are two characters here having a conversation. Write a paragraph of what you think is happening in this scene. What kind of people are these characters? How do they know each other? What happened to them before they met in this scene?

You’ll notice that this script does not tell you much about the story at all, with the words that the characters are saying. But there is a lot of story that we can add to the scene, using context and character. This is what we are going to be working on this term in Drama.
