• Sessions are split into 1 hour blocks. However students are not expected to work for the whole hour. Please see the recommended times of learning on this page.

• For Reading, Writing and Maths there are 5 activities for the week (one per day). You can choose which order you would like to complete them in.

• The First hour from 9:00 - 10:00 is split between Spelling and Reading. Once your child has completed the spelling ‘assignment’ on Reading Eggs and practised their high frequency words for the week, they can stick to reading during this time.

• Some students may finish set tasks faster than others. Please feel free to adjust the timing of each lesson to suit your own child’s needs.

• You may find it helpful to print and display the timetable in a place where it is visible to your child. This will promote self reliance and foster ownership and responsibility for their learning.

• If there are any issues, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher and let them know. We will be happy to assist you with any of your child’s learning needs.

• Please check your emails every day for any updates (including the spam folder) to see if an important mail from us has not found its way there.
