Today you are going to learn some new gymnastic shapes. Find a soft place to sit and copy the gymnastic shapes in the video.

Warm your body up with some arm and leg stretches of your choice. This week we are going to learn how to do a cartwheel.
Watch the video below and then attempt to do some cartwheels yourself.
Remember to use a soft surface and some pillows to start with until you are more confident.

To warm up I would like you to complete 5 forward rolls using a safe technique.
This week we are going to practise some backwards rolls.
Watch the video below to learn how to do this. Build your confidence up using pillows for safety and then try without pillows once you are confident.
SKILL
Balloon tap challenge
You will need:
· a balloon (a scrunched-up newspaper ball or tennis will work too)
· a bat (otherwise use your hand)
Try your best to complete the following challenges:
□ I can strike a balloon with my hand 15 times in a row without the balloon hitting the ground
□ I can strike a balloon with my hand 15 times without moving
□ I can strike a balloon with a bat 10 times without the balloon hitting the ground
□ I can strike a ball with a bat 10 times without the ball hitting the ground

You will need a tennis ball, two square ball or sock to complete these skills.
