Think about how we can use technology in a safe and healthy way. In your Learning Journal, sort the statements on the activity sheet into ‘Good’ and ‘Bad’ choices. You can either cut and paste or write them in the 2 different sections with headings.
It is important to be mindful - to focus our mind on one idea or project at a time.
Work on this ‘Spot the Difference’ (below) to find 10 differences between the two pictures. You will need to take your time and concentrate. Once you've finished, compare your results with a friend. Who found the most differences? Did you miss any that your friend found?
To further challenge yourself and your mindfulness practise, set a timer and see how quickly you can find all the differences. Can you complete it faster than your friends?

On your left fingers, write five ways you might feel when something goes wrong online.
On your right fingers list five people you could ask for help when things go wrong online.
Discuss with someone at home about things that might go wrong online and make a plan for the steps you will take to keep yourself safe.

When we do anything, our brain thinks about what we are doing and gives us messages: Messages can be positive or negative.
Sometimes we can think negative or bad messages about what we are doing if we are not good at it.
You can change what you think.
This is called having a growth mindset.
By thinking about the messages we tell ourselves, we can practise making changes in our self talk. Look at these examples:
