Find a soft surface and some pillows for extra safety to practise some forward rolls.
It's important to use a safe and technically correct technique. Watch the videos below for help and then have a go at doing 5 forward rolls.

Perform the following movements for 1 minute each around the house or in your backyard.
Once you have done this, have a go at doing 5 forward rolls. You can use the videos on the left for help if you want. Use some pillows for extra safety!

Watch and listen to the following video. See how many of the gymnastic movements you can do too, there are some challenging ones towards the end! You can pause to give yourself more time to practise the movements.
Make sure you are in a safe space and won’t break anything or hurt yourself. Using a few pillows is a good idea for extra safety!

Catching
Use a tennis ball or beanbag and practise throwing above your head and catching it on the way down. Try using one hand to catch or clapping multiple times when it is in the air for a challenge.

Start off by using a balloon to get a feel for how you will need to move your body.
Now you are ready to use a ball. To start with let it bounce once between each kick. How many can you do in a row?
Can you try doing this using your non preferred foot now?
