Today you are going to learn a new gymnastics roll. Find a soft and safe place to complete 5 backwards rolls.

Last year you might remember doing ‘Free G’ gymnastics in PE. This is very similar to the version of gymnastics called Parkour. I would like you to watch the video and have a go at doing the forward, side and back rolls. Remember to find a soft surface or a few pillows if possible.

Target Station Skills
You need:
· A ball or sock ball
· Objects to make targets
□ Set up one target and stand 5 steps away – can you underarm roll/throw and hit the target?
□ Set up one target and stand 10 steps away – can you underarm roll/throw and hit the target?
□ Build a target with three or more objects and throw from 5 steps away. Count how many throws it takes to knock them all down
□ Build a target with three or more objects and throw from 10 steps away. Count how many throws it takes to knock them all down

You will need a tennis ball, two square ball or sock to complete these skills.

Grab a soccer ball or ball of your choice and practise some kicking skills outside.
Create a set of goals and kick 5 amazing goals!
Remember to kick with the inside part of your foot.

Two square/Downball
Use a tennis ball or two square ball and play two square with someone at home. If no one is able to play with you, try playing against the wall, which is also known as ‘downball’.
Remember to explain the rules to someone before you start playing.

Balloon Volleyball
Make a net by tying a piece of string or long scarf from one chair to another. Then blow up a balloon and start practising by setting, digging and spiking! Change things up by kicking or head-bumping the balloon.
If someone is available to play with you, have a game and remember to explain the rules before starting.
