We typically share term schedule of classes within a few weeks before registration opens for that given term.Â
ILEs are intensive 1 to 2 week elective courses that meet either in: January (winter break), March (spring break), or late July/early August (summer break/after GBE travel). No ILEs are offered in the fall.
ILEs are optional, but must be made up with modular electives if you don't take them. You can take up to 12 credits of ILEs total that will count towards your elective credit count for the MBA degree.
ILEs can be worth 1.5 or 3 credits, depending on the course. Here's a breakdown of how the credits are typically determined:Â
3-credit ILEs = ~full-week daytime intensives (e.g. MTWRF 9:00–6:00) or a two-week evening format.
1.5-credit ILEs = single-week evening blocks (e.g. MWR 6:30–9:40 + a Saturday 9:00–6:15) or “Evening January ILE” of the same shape.
ILEs have different modalities - either in person or online, and evening or daytime.Â
Due to the intensity, no more than one ILE can be taken during the same week.
FXO-style courses are online and typically held in the evenings, combining live (synchronous) sessions with independent (asynchronous) work. You’ll join scheduled live classes and complete readings, lectures, assignments, and group projects on your own time.
Academic expectations match those of in person classes. Regular assignments, group work, and active participation are required, with steady weekly deadlines. Strong time management and consistent engagement are key, especially if you’re balancing multiple courses with other commitments.
Courses are taught by the same faculty and follow the same curriculum as in-person classes. Students also have full access to academic resources, career services, and experiential learning opportunities. Some courses may include optional or required in-person components like residencies.
FXO-style courses offer flexibility in format but require the same preparation, participation, and commitment as any other course.
Earn specialized knowledge, experience, and credentials by completing an MBA Certificate in consumer analytics, global real estate, healthcare, nonmarket strategy, or sustainable business.Â
Complete a STEM Management Science Major that helps prepare you to lead in a technology-intensive world, by taking coursework focused on statistical modeling, quantitative analysis, and data management.
