The Social Impact Internship Fund (SIIF) supports Georgetown MBA students who accept unpaid or low-paying internships in the social impact field. The Net Impact Club raises and awards stipends to support MBA students who are pursuing unpaid or minimally funded internships in social impact oriented organizations.
Spring 2026 Timeline:
Application Opens: Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST (APPLY HERE)
Application Info Session: Thursday, April 9th, 2026 at 12:30 PM EST (REGISTER HERE)
Deadline: Thursday, May 7th, 2026 at 1:00 PM EST
Decision Roll Out: Friday, May 15th, 2026
You are eligible for SIIF if:
Enrollment: You are a first-year, full-time MBA student at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.
Internship Requirement: You must secure a summer internship in a social impact field.
- A confirmed position is not required at the time of application.
- If selected as a recipient, you must provide an offer letter before fund disbursement.
Compensation Limit: Total summer earnings must not exceed $6,000, including all forms of compensation (e.g., salary, stock options, foreign currency). SIIF recipients may not accept additional employment that would cause earnings to exceed this limit.
Find steps below on how to donate toward SIIF:
Discuss with your club leaders, especially your VP of Finance.
Determine how much your club is able to donate. The SIIF team has historical records of past donations from clubs that they can inform you about as well.
Complete the club donation Google form by Monday, April 13th, 2026.
Submit this form to indicate that you are donating to SIIF from your club funds. Once the form submission period ends, the data will be shared with the MBA Program Office team and the funds transfer will be made by them. No further steps are required from you.

Receiving the funds
The funds will be deposited to the method you register at the Supplier ID account.

You will receive info from Net Impact confirming how much you were awarded
GU Supplier Registration
Student should register as a Georgetown University supplier at Georgetown Supplier Website, if you don’t have one.
If you have issues registering, you can reach out directly to the Care Supplier Team at suppliercare@georgetown.edu
After registering, International students will receive a separate email to complete Glacier Registration
You’ll receive an email with your supplier id (Usually after 5 days), or you can check the Full List of GU Suppliers available here
