Nominate MBA Graduating Students for MBA Awards!
The annual MBA Awards and Gala Ceremony honors the staff, faculty, and graduating MBA students and student organization leaders who have made outstanding contributions to the MBA Program, MSB, Georgetown University, and/or the community at large. These awards celebrate our program’s core values and the contributions of our incredible MBA student community, and were designed to recognize exceptional individuals who embody the qualities that make McDonough special.
MBA Awards Nominations:
We invite all members of the MBA community to participate in our annual awards program by either self-nominating or nominating colleagues. You can nominate MBA Graduating Students (Class of 2026), Faculty or Staff.
Note that we may have more than one winner per category.
You can submit nominations for 10 awards:

Submit the MBA End of Year Awards nomination form for the staff, faculty, graduating students, and student organization leaders who you believe deserve accolades. Submissions are welcome year-round—nominate someone as soon as they make an impact. You may submit the form multiple times for different individuals or awards. The deadline to submit nominations for the 2025-2026 academic year is Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

The MBA Program at the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University, honors staff, faculty, and graduating MBA students—including organization leaders—who have made outstanding contributions to the community.
These MBA Awards recognize individuals who exemplify the exceptional qualities of the McDonough community. This year, Dean Dasmohapatra has introduced the MBA Awards & Gala, an expanded celebration for the MBA Graduating Class designed to recognize these achievements more grandly.

While full event details are still being planned, the MBA Awards & Gala is scheduled for Monday, May 11, 2026.
Event: 2026 MBA Awards & Gala
Date: Monday, May 11, 2026 | 5:30 to 10:00 PM (arrive early for check-in at 5:00 PM)
Location: The Mayflower Hotel | 1127 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20036
Dress Code: Formal Attire (The idea is to look polished and elegant; cocktail attire or formal business attire is recommended; black tie optional. Please refer to the attached inspiration cocktail attire guide for examples.)

MBA Awards & Gala - Ticketing Information
Ticket sales for the MBA Awards & Gala open on Sunday, March 22nd, 2026, and occur in ticket phases.
Please note that only graduating MBA students can purchase Gala tickets. If any remain, sales will open to the rest of the community in a later ticket phase.
Prices for gala tickets are $20 and will be available for purchase exclusively through MSB Campus Groups.

Limited Tickets: Ticket sales will occur in phases. Graduating MBA students will get priority. Plus-one tickets are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.

Who Can Buy? MBA students graduating in August 2025, December 2025, May 2026, or August 2026

Purchase your tickets on MSB Campus Groups.
Tickets are assigned to individuals—no resales or transfers are allowed without notifying mbaprogramoffice@georgetown.edu at least 48 hours before the event.
Students may purchase one ticket per phase, with a maximum of two tickets per registered person for the MBA Awards & Gala (subject to capacity). Be sure to secure your ticket early in each phase to guarantee your spot!
If you are a graduating student, you have priority only in Phases 1 and 2. You won’t have priority for Phase 3 since it will be open to all MBA students. So if you’d like to bring a partner, plan to buy your ticket in Phase 1, and, if available, buy your partner’s ticket in Phase 2.
What your ticket includes:
Entry to the event at the Mayflower Hotel
Gourmet culinary stations throughout the evening
Two drink tickets for alcoholic beverages (cash bar available for additional beverage purchases, and non alcoholic beverages provided throughout the event)
Awards ceremony recognizing student leadership and community impact
Photobooth and professional photographer
Live DJ and dancing
A Raffle Entry
