Our sophomores were given the task to create a resume. This is especially important as our sophomores are almost or are at the age of applying for jobs! And a well crafted resume is key to standing out in competitive environments They include things like:
Education
Volunteer Work
Extracurricular Activities
And many more!!

Makerspace Project 1
Requirements!
The makerspace is one of our biggest projects of the semester. We use the tools that we are given in engineering and materials that we have to get on our own to make something that we want. It can be anything that we can accomplish by the due date (no weapons!!) and it gives us some freedom to make our ideas come to life. Along with the write-up we also had to make a Gantt chart. A Gantt chart is a bar chart that illustrates a project schedule. In all, our first makerspace Project was very fun for most people because we were given the freedom to make anything we wanted.

Laser Project
For one of our first projects of the semester we had to use the laser to create something like a keychain or a coaster and then make a write up for it. A lot of us had fun with this project because we were using the laser and the lightburn platform for the first time. Lightburn turned out to be really easy to use because it didn't glitch, so most of us loved it. For our write-up we had to take pictures of the whole process of lasering something and put it into slides in a way that we could understand, so that we could refer back to it the next time we used it. In all, the only problem anyone had was trying to use the laser since there was only one, but it worked out for everyone in the end.
3D Print Project
For our first project of the year, we used the 3D printers! A lot of us forgot how to use it over the summer so this was our way of learning. We first made our shape on onshape and then uploaded it to a micro SD card. From there, we put it into the 3D printer and used the setting to start our print. This project also had a write-up that we had to do at the end where we explained the whole process for future reference. In all, this project was very helpful and many of us now love using the 3D printer!
