Argument on The Fate of the Union

As a bridge between argument writing in AP Lang and the beginning of the Civil War taught in APUSH, students were assigned a stance on a given prompt: To what extent should the Federal Government be allowed to prevent the dissolution of the United States?  The juniors on both sides provided compelling arguments, backed with their APUSH prior knowledge.
