Taking a spin on class time, the CHARGENorth Juniors discussed topics that are of interest to them. Once a week students got together in groups to discuss and analyze a chosen topic. Groups that are doing digital learning discussed podcasts, while the in-person group selected a show to watch. In class "The Mandalorian" was chosen to be watched. Trevor Coning, a CHARGE student, created a 2-tiered timeline of every movie and TV show in the Star Wars saga, adding even more background and depth to their conversation. Pictured below is Trevor explaining his timeline to fellow student, Lonnie White. For a bit of entertainment, Mrs. Copeland made a meme about the whole experience. 

A game that requires both skill and decision making, chess takes a lot of time to master. However, it only takes about two weeks to create a chess set. That is what the CHARGE North juniors have been doing - for the past two weeks they have been using Onshape, an online Computer Aided Design software, or Autodesk Inventor to create chess sets. They could create either a classic set or do a themed one. Below are some of their best works.
