Aquaponics - a system of aquaculture in which the waste produced by farmed fish or other aquatic animals supplies nutrients for plants grown hydroponically, which in turn purifies the water.
Seven seniors in the entrepreneurship pathway are currently working in the aquaponics lab. Aquaponics students are using nitrogen-containing fish waste to grow organic, food-grade crops. Crops such as sage, cilantro, parsley, and basil will be used by the NGHS culinary department.
CHARGE Co. creates custom items and orders, such as laser-engraved cutting boards and water bottles, and the students run and operate the daily tasks of the CHARGE store.

This year's Big T'Do Gala and fundraiser was masquerade themed, and this seven-foot mask, spearheaded by upperclassmen and Mrs. Davis, was the perfect touch to set off the fun night at River Club's clubhouse!
The fundraised items were highly profitable and will be used to fund grants for the community and its schools!
