The Water Tower at Gwinnett
CHARGEnorth students take a look inside the operations of local Water Tower, seeing first hand the different stages that contaminated water processes through to be sent cleaned to Lake Lanier. Students also partake in a career fair, getting the opportunity to speak with people in fields related to those at The Water Tower- environmental engineers, project managers, civil engineers, technicians, and more.
Viewing first processing step: bacteria eat waste in the water (biofiltration)
Viewing third processing step: water is filtered through tubes with holes thinner than a strand hair
