The RXM Mastermind group is a small, focused group of peers who meet to give and receive advice and support from each other. Each Mastermind group will consist of roughly 6 members for a duration of 4 months. Meetings will be held monthly for 90 minutes in length, and multiple sessions will be offered each calendar year.
Prospective members must apply and will be hand-selected by the Retail Experience and Education team.
The goal of the RXM Mastermind Group is two-fold:
For experienced, high-level RXMs to have a space to refine their communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills, consider new ideas, and develop creative solutions.
For the Retail Experience and Education team to hear from RXMs on common obstacles and challenges to help design future resources and support systems for the position.
Each meeting will focus on giving select RXMs focused peer-coaching on an identified problem using the “Hot Seat” model. For a set amount of time, one RXM will describe their most pressing problem or biggest obstacle. The group will then ask clarifying and probing questions. Once the issue is clearly defined, the group will then share feedback and brainstorm solutions with the RXM on the “Hot Seat.”
“The RXM Mastermind group is a safe space for RXM's to meet, collaborate, troubleshoot, brainstorm, and support one another. It was a great way to meet and interact with my peers."
- Brittany Bisceglia, Pittsburgh
“Spending time really working through my challenge on a deeper level before I was in the Hot Seat was very helpful. It helped me focus the challenge into a concise idea instead of just complaining about something general. It was almost “SMART goal-esque” in challenge form. It also helped me be ready for actual feedback since I had to ask for it!”
-Liz Kinnear, St. Louis
"I enjoyed the format very much. It gave me accountability to take action on ideas."
-Kayla Skotzke, Davenport
"I enjoyed problem-solving with others and making connections within our brand."
-Kelly Robinson, Dallas
To be considered, applicants must be in the role of RXM (or equivalent) for 6 months or more.
