Overview

fit id® technology is a central component of the Fleet Feet Outfitting Experience. By creating a 3D image with their precise measurements and producing a dynamic pressure mapping readout that illustrates their feet in motion, fit id® is a powerful tool that helps to inform Outfitter footwear recommendations. However, more importantly, it allows our customers to see their feet the way we do, helping them understand why we're recommending specific solutions.

Getting Access

Your store Owner/Operating Partner will have admin access on the Volumental Cloud (3D scanner) and Dynamic Scanner Back Office to add you as a user.

Recommened Best Practices

Daily

Cleaning

It is recommended that you clean the Pressure Plate surface daily by wiping with a clean, soft cloth dampened with warm water only, using a gentle circular scrubbing action. It is not necessary to clean the pressure plate after every use, and doing so can cause damage. You can use a broom to wipe off surface-level dust in between cleaning.
Use wet wipes (non-alcoholic) or a damp cloth to remove dust or smudges from the 3D scanner. 70% Isopropyl Alcohol is the recommended cleaning solution to disinfect the scanner top.

Cleaning

When disinfection of the Pressure Plate is necessary, Windex Multi-Surface Antibacterial is recommended.
For cleaning the 3D scanner, use a mild liquid dishwashing detergent. Dip a soft sponge into a soapy solution and rub it over the surface of the counter. Then rinse it off and pat dry.

From the Volumental Cloud, find and resend customer scans, following the instructions in the Volumental Cloud Guide.
