Gems in my fingers
in my heart
in my eyes.
Gems in my memories
and gems in the love
I have for you.
I go to you melting the snow, the fog, the cold
looking for the cause of your long silence.
I go to you crossing the time
and leaving behind the dreams
planted in the ground of oblivion.
I go to you untying distances
that have tangled our lives
with tears and dying sighs.
I go to you closing the circles
of the rings of time around my dreams
and the obsessions sown
in the silence of your forgotten love.
I go to you to find myself
in the reflection of your ocean eyes
and in the brightness of your suns to rise.
I go to you.
Words are honey.
Words are spears.
They sweet my lips.
They pierce my heart.
Faith is the only everlasting string
that holds my life
and binds me tight.
Beauty is ephemeral
and goes with the wind.
But love spreads its wings
of eternity.
The crests of white waves peak the distance.
A sailing ship with swollen sails crosses the furious sea.
And a lonely snowy flag is elevated in the highest.
You have gone.
The sea took you away.
It swallowed your azure eyes
and converted your sunny hair into dark seaweeds.
You have gone with peace cupped in your hands
And green flowers between your lips.
You have gone.
