Soccer Compelling Why
I will tell a story about being a fan of soccer and going to a world cup qualifier. I will ask who plays soccer and let them know about soccer popularity in the world.
Dribble Intro
Dribble Direction Change
Students dribble throughout the gym. When I blow my whistle, students will go first fast then slow. Late I will have them change direction when I blow my whistle.
Soccer Hoopla
Students of 4 groups will collect balls from other groups and dribble them back to their home hoop. Team with the most balls in their hoop will win the round.
Day 2
Trap, Pass, and Follow
Dribble Target
-Students are split into two groups. One group is inside of the playing area, dribbling their own soccer ball. The other group is outside of the playing area, passing soccer balls to try to hit a dribbler’s feet. If a dribbler get hit in the foot with the ball, they join the outside group. The round will be played until the last person is left. Groups will switch each round.
