Violence against women

I think violence against women is one of the most unacceptable things that can happen in 2022. This is a topic that interests me a lot. A month ago I read a book It ends with us (by Colleen Hoover, 2016). At first I thought it was a romance, but it was actually about domestic violence. In fact, it talked about a woman, Lily, who met a man, named Ryle, and after a little time they got married; but it wasn’t a healthy relationship. Ryle often hit Lily for stupid reasons, but every time he apologized and Lily forgave him. They went on like this for a lot of time, until Lily realized she couldn’t live like that forever and she left Ryle.

I almost cried reading this book, because it shows exactly what happens today with a lot of feminicide cases. (Giulia Caivano)
