Tennis
This term, the girls have been loving their tennis sessions. The under-9s have been focusing on hand-eye coordination and footwork, and have made great progress. The under-11 squad has had a successful season, with many players experiencing their first match and learning how to score, play doubles, and follow match etiquette. We had two teams playing in the under-11 doubles league, and we're excited to see them continue to develop their skills in the next tennis season. In the open age group, we entered four teams into the league, and a group of senior girls took part in development sessions to fine-tune their ball skills.
We're proud of all the players and their competitive spirit, as they vie for positions on the ladder. Many matches were played and our girls have made us proud with some fantastic results. We're thrilled to witness so many girls eager to join teams and get on the court. We would like to congratulate Aphelele Mkhize and Jordan Reeve who were selected to play in the uMgungundlovu team.
