Randon Acts of Kindness Day - 20 February
A Random Act of Kindness involves performing a thoughtful gesture for someone else without any prompting or expectation of reciprocation. On Tuesday, February 20th, the Pre-Primary and Junior Primary children came together to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day.
The Gr 0 Chameleons eagerly participated by assisting the estate staff in the morning, diligently collecting raked leaves in shopping packets, and each filling a garden bag with leaves. The estate staff were pleasantly surprised by the enthusiasm and willingness of these little helpers. They were also most grateful for the act of kindness and the help received.
Later in the day, the Chameleons embarked on a mission with small packets of marshmallows, hot water in a flask, and a tin of Milo. Their goal was to spread joy to thirsty adults around the campus. Visiting the guard house at the gate, they gifted Milo and marshmallow treats to the staff. Each child found someone to share their packet of marshmallows and a cup of hot Milo during their walk around the campus.
The Grade 1 children expressed gratitude by writing cards and baking biscuits for various staff members, while the Grade 2 children crafted Thank You cards for the admin staff, accompanying them with hand-picked flowers. The Grade 3 boys and girls showcased their baking skills by preparing microwave chocolate cakes, offering a delightful piece to the Estate staff.
These heartwarming acts of kindness were well-received and undeniably brought smiles to many faces on our Clifton campus!
