Epworth Hockey Festival 

The Open 1st and 2nd Team Hockey girls attended an overnight festival at Epworth this past weekend. This was a full experience focused on skill development and team bonding. Friday afternoon began with a series of skills-based drills led by experienced coaches, aimed at improving techniques and enhancing gameplay strategies. The girls showed great enthusiasm and dedication throughout the very hot sessions. 

As the day progressed, the excitement continued with an engaging drama competition followed by a scavenger hunt. All aimed at developing teamwork and camaraderie among the teams. On Saturday, the girls played two competitive preseason matches, with parents cheering them on from the side-lines. 

We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to get back on the field and jump-start our hockey season.
