World Read Aloud Day - 7 February
“A book is a gift you can open again and again.” – Garrison Keillor
On Wednesday, our JP and SP children joined millions worldwide in commemorating the joy of sharing stories and reading books.
World Read Aloud Day provided our primary school children an excellent opportunity to pick up a book, sit with a friend, and relish the beauty and marvel of reading aloud.
Equipped with blankets, picnic baskets, and books, the children ventured into the picturesque Headmaster's Woods, where they munched on healthy picnic snacks, shared wonderful stories, and enjoyed quality time together.
Embarking on life's journey through books and exploring new realms through literary works is a truly remarkable experience.
It was a memorable occasion for all involved and we are most grateful for the time we were able to spend together as a school.
