Clifton Durban Cricket Tour - 20-21 February

On Tuesday our 1st X1 team and U11A cricket squads embarked on an exciting tour to Clifton Durban, showcasing their cricket prowess against their counterparts in an exhilarating series of matches. Upon arriving in Durban, the boys immediately hit the ground running, displaying skill and sportsmanship on the cricket field. The competition was intense, but the Notties boys held their own, impressing both teammates and spectators alike.

A highlight of the tour was the build-a-burger evening, where the boys and their parents had the opportunity to mingle and strengthen bonds. Following the evening, Notties boys were paired and billeted by their Clifton Durban counterparts, fostering friendships and cultural exchanges.

The following day, the U11A team engaged in another spirited match against the same opposition, while the 1st team faced off against St Stithians, who were also on their Durban tour. The tour not only provided a platform for thrilling cricket encounters but also created lasting memories and connections among the players.

Special mention goes to the Fyvie brothers who both displayed outstanding knocks with Jack reaching 54 in the first of the two encounters. Not to be left out, Guy amassed 115 *Not out against St Stithians in a T20.
